Catholic bishops ask court to quickly block unconstitutional Washington law breaking seal of confession
SEATTLE, June 6, 2025 – The Catholic bishops of Washington asked a federal court late yesterday to block a new state law that forces priests to choose between breaking the sacred seal of confession or facing jail time before it takes effect on July 27.
