Vocation Ministry Teams
Vocation Ministry Teams
Together, we discern, pray, and promote
Now is the time to start. Work with your pastor to pick a date and location for your first meeting. Invite others from each community within your parish family to become a part of the team! Consider inviting people from school staff, DRE, youth minister, adult faith formation, prayer group leaders… Remember, you can customize how you form and live out these parish family vocation ministry teams for what fits best. Also, start small with some Phase 1 activities such as acquiring prayer cards to pray with and distribute or connecting your school or faith formation to vocation videos. Also, familiarize yourself with the 3-point plan. (See below)

Vocations prayer God our Father,You call each of us
to use our gifts in the Body of Christ. Inspire your people
with desire to know you,
the grace to understand your will,
and, with the strength of the Holy Spirit,
the courage to respond
with love and freedom. Send workers into your great harvest
so that the Gospel is preached, the poor
are served with love, the suffering are comforted,
and your people are strengthened by the sacraments.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen. Vocation Ministry links
