Native American

We are a community from different Native American Tribes in America. There are 574 Native American Tribal Nations - each tribe has its own unique language and special customs & cultural traditions.

It is through our Catholic tradition we have a common tradition. Each geographic region & tribal community may through enculturation bring their language or unique traditions into their Catholic traditions.

Each tribe has its own language. We speak different languages, including English, Spanish and for a few Native parishes in western Washington - Coast Salish languages may be spoken.
