This novena of Masses expresses the love of the people for God through His Mother,
Mary, as we gather in prayerful anticipation of the Christmas miracle. The readings, the
prayers and the songs at Mass remind us all of our need for God in our lives and the necessity of taking time to reflect on our relationships with God and with one another at this special time of the year.

The annual Tekakwitha Conference is the Voice, Presence and Identity of Indigenous Catholics of North America under the protection and inspiration of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha.

The 87th Annual Tekakwitha Conference will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 5th-8th, 2026.

Our Lady of Guadalupe

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Mass

Every year, the Native American community, along with Multicultural Ministries of the Archdiocese of Seattle, hosts a Mass honoring St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint.

St. Kateri, "the Lily of the Mohawks," was born in New York state in 1656. She was noted for her deep prayer life and special devotion to the Eucharist.

The miracle that led to her sainthood occurred locally under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Seattle.
