Eucharistic Procession for Migrant Dignity

Join Catholics and people of goodwill from across Western Washington this Memorial Day for a public witness of faith and solidarity.

Beginning with Mass at St. Leo’s Parish in Tacoma, participants will process with the Eucharist to the Northwest Detention Center, led by Archbishop Etienne. This bilingual gathering centers prayer, dignity, and accompaniment for migrants and asylum seekers, affirming our call as one Body of Christ to stand in solidarity with those whose dignity is too often denied.

This gathering is part of the Season of Faithful Witness, a national Catholic movement animating public witness grounded in Catholic Social Teaching and the lived experiences of our communities.
