Becoming a Mentor Couple: Tools for Accompanying the Engaged and Newly-Married

This one-day workshop equips married couples to support and strengthen marriage and family ministries by serving as Mentor Couples. Discussion topics include: sharing the theology of marriage through your lived experiences, navigating challenging questions and conversations, how to use reference materials, interfaith marriage, and fruitful mentorship. There is no cost to attend and lunch is included.

How can you strengthen marriage preparation in your parish? Whatever the program, it will be enriched when the bride and groom are paired with a mentor couple who can guide them through the practical aspects of marriage and answer real-life questions!

How can you support young couples as they begin to live their vocation of marriage? Ministry for this stage of life may be missing at your parish. The newly-married will benefit from guidance and perspective that experienced couples offer!
