Pastoral Assistant for Administration - St. John Mary Vianney, Kirkland (5/6/21)

The successful candidate will be an active member of a Catholic faith Community. This person will have a good understanding of accounts receivable/accounts payable and other administrative activities; have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.; have experience in church database management, preference for Parish Data Systems; have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Faith Formation Coordinator - St. Thomas, Tukwila (5/3/21)

St. Thomas Catholic Church in Tukwila is looking for a Faith Formation Coordinator for Faith Formation in English. Responsibilities: teach  grades 1-6 and 7-12 and supervise volunteers. Students study the Christian faith and also prepare for 1st Reconciliation, 1st Communion, and RCIA adapted for children. Position begins July 1 at 10 hours per week. Will increase to 15-20 hours September 1.

Pastoral Assistant for Youth Ministry - St. Joseph, Vancouver (5/3/21)

Program Coordinator for Baptism and Confirmation Preparation - Our Lady of Guadalupe, Seattle (4/29/21)

Pastoral Assistant for Administration - Our Lady of Lourdes, Vancouver (4/22/21)

Our Lady of Lourdes (a Catholic Parish with 770 families and School with 240 students located in the Northwest Neighborhood of Vancouver, Washington) is seeking a full-time Pastoral Assistant for Administration (PAA). This position serves as the Business Manager for the parish and school and is in charge of accounting, finance, human resources, payroll, accounts payable, budgeting and a wide variety of administrative responsibilities. In collaboration with the Facilities Supervisor, the PAA helps to administer daily operations of grounds, maintenance, janitorial, safety, and security. The PAA is the main parish liaison with the Archdiocesan Office in Seattle and confers often with Parish Financial Services, Property & Construction, Stewardship, Benefits Services, and various other departments. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Church or non-profit finance and accounting is preferred. Custodian / Dishwasher - St. John the Evangelist, Seattle

St. John the Evangelist Parish, in North Seattle, is a diverse and dynamic community of faith, as well as, a large and active community with more than 900 parish families and over 500 students in our parish school.We are looking for a reliable and hard-working custodian and kitchen dishwasher. The successful candidate will be able to work independently or on a team, be capable of lifting 20-30lbs on a regular basis and work at a fast pace. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work in a child-filled environment with patience and compassion.
Starting hours and days are Mondays-Fridays 6:00AM-2:30PMStarting duties will include, but are not limited to:Mop, dust, vacuum, empty trash and clean restrooms
Work in cafeteria lunchroom as dishwasher during height of daily student service
Clean kitchen and lunchroom daily following service
Seasonal grounds keeping - Mowing/Leaves/weeds/snow and ice care
Helps with functions / events (sometimes outside of normal hours)
Other duties as directedQualifications:High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); and/OR 1 - 3 yrs related experience &/or training
Valid Food Handler Permit [may get after being hired]
Ability to communicate effectively with staff
Prefer an active participating Catholic, but will consider someone of a Christian faith.
Valid State Driver's License required
