The Crozier Society

Crozier members have the unique privilege of supporting Archbishop Etienne’s priorities, particularly seminarian, deacon, and lay ecclesial formation, which is essential for the growth of our churches in Western Washington. Early invitation to yearly pilgrimages and quarterly social and spiritual events with Archbishop Etienne and our auxiliary bishops as well as monthly prayer intentions and shared experiences of Mass form community and friendship with other Catholics in the archdiocese.

Members make a minimum annual contribution of:

• $2,000 per couple
• $1,000 for individuals
• $500 Archdiocesan employees
• $500 sponsor a priest
• $250 young adults ages 21-30
• $500 young adults ages 31-40

The Crozier membership campaign launches in early October and ends December 31 each year. Membership is renewed at the start of the new year.

The Crozier Society’s contributions are used to support men answering God’s call to the priesthood through the Seminarian Formation Fund as well as Deacon and Lay Ecclesial formation. Each year of formation (tuition, books, housing, meals, travel from school to home and back, summer assignments at local parishes and retreats) costs $54,000 for one seminarian. Since it was founded, the Crozier Society has contributed to the ordination of over 52 new priests.
