Native American Advisory Board
Application for Consideration
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a new guiding document for Native American Ministry. In light of this new guidance and the sincere desire to authentically engage with Native American brothers and sisters, the Archdiocese of Seattle is redeveloping its Native American Ministry Board.
The board will advise the archdiocese in ministering to and with Native Americans in Western Washington. Areas of focus include healing, mission, reconciliation, transformation, evangelization and other areas that may emerge over time.
This board will represent multiple tribes and regions of the archdiocese. Appointed board members will serve a term of three years and will meet approximately once a quarter.
Applications will be accepted through the end of February.
