For Priests interested in learning Spanish
The Spanish Institute is a highly regarded Spanish Language School specialized in teaching the Spanish language and its culture through 8 levels (3 weeks each) of Intensive Immersion program in Mexico. This immersion experience is available to priests of the Archdiocese of Seattle wanting to improve their cultural competence in ministering to/with the Hispanic/Latino community. Certificate Program for Pastoral Leaders
Instituto Hispano is a certificate program that offers theological and pastoral formation to leaders of communities and local churches. It is held over the course of three, two-week sessions in July and takes place on Santa Clara University’s main campus in Berkeley, CA. PLNHM - Pastoral Leadership Network for Hispanic Ministry
The Pastoral Leadership Network for Hispanic Ministry (PLNHM), is for priests, religious, and lay staff who serve the Hispanic community at their parishes (pastoral assistants, coordinators, etc) as well as leadership from ecclesial movements and Catholic organizations.
The PLNHM meets quarterly to share information and updates on what is happening in their communities. We ask that each Parish fills out this form before the meeting.
