World Youth Day 2023
World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people from all over the world with Pope Francis.
It is a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church, and an intense moment of evangelization for the world.
Join fellow Catholics from the Archdiocese of Seattle this summer, including Fr. Justin Ryan, Director of Vocations, and several seminarians from our archdiocese!
Visit the official World Youth Day Website here.

Who should attend Local WYD?
Our local WYD events are designed for high school student groups and college-aged young adults. High school students can attend with a parent, chaperone, or with their youth group. Young adults can come in organized groups or individually.
What does a Local WYD Day look like?
Each day we will mirror the activities offered in Lisbon. Click here for the schedule. All events are different - Come to one, two, or all three!
