St. Kateri Anniversary of Canonization Mass
Celebrating the 13th anniversary of St. Kateri Tekakwitha’s canonization.
St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the Lily of the Mohawks, was the first Native American saint.
Born in New York state in 1656, St. Kateri was noted for her deep prayer life and special devotion to the Eucharist. Join us in a joyful celebration of Native American faith and culture.
The miracle that led to her sainthood occurred locally under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Seattle. Read about it in Northwest Catholic.
