Cultivating Skills for Nonviolent Communication

A workshop to build skills for peaceful living in the family, the parish, and the larger community.

Responding to Jesus’ call to be peacemakers, we will look at ways to significantly improve our relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and strangers. Building on our own compassion, we will learn how to overcome barriers that prevent us from living and working harmoniously with those around us. Working from Christian Scripture and Marshall Rosenberg’s work on nonviolent communication, we will look more fully at what it means to be missionaries of peace.
