Choir Camp for Children and Youth

Cathedral Choir Camp 2024: Lift Every Voice

August 12-16, 9:00am-4:00pm daily
Drop-off begins 8:30am; pick-up concludes by 4:30pm
August 18th 9am call-time to sing 10am Sunday Mass

All children and youth who possess unchanged treble voices and are entering grades 1-8 are encouraged to enroll in Cathedral Choir Camp this August 12-16. All camp choristers will sing at the 10am Sunday Mass at the Cathedral, August 18th, to conclude the week of Choir Camp.

Camp participants will meet daily with our Faculty and Youth Chaperones for an array of activities and worship ranging from Morning Praise, choral warm-ups and exercises, basic vocal instruction, game time, music study time, group lunch in the Cathedral Courtyard (please pack your own ‘brown bag’ lunch/lunchbox daily), to an Outreach Concert, Mass on Thursday, August 15, and a concluding concert inside the Cathedral followed by Ice Cream Social in the Cathedral Courtyard, Friday, August 16th.

All camp choristers return to sing the 10am Mass on Sunday, August 18th to formally conclude the Choir Camp week.

Children and youth throughout the Archdiocese are welcome and encouraged to register. All are welcome, Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

Camp tuition is $150 for each chorister.

No child is turned away based on financial need–scholarships are available.
