Assumption Rosary Walk at Holyrood
All Catholics are invited to join us at Holyrood Cemetery for a Rosary Walk in honor of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Bring your rosary as Fr. Wichert leads us through the grounds to pray for loved ones. Rosary walks are beautiful, reverent, guided walks through the cemetery where participants pray the Rosary together, stopping briefly at designated points (stations) for each decade.
A Rosary walk through the cemetery’s sacred ground emphasizes peace and contemplation, hope in the Resurrection, and reminds us that a cemetery is a place of active prayer, not just burials and rest.
The Rosary Walk should take about 60 – 75 minutes and is free to attend. Just bring your Rosary and meet us in front of the Chapel Mausoleum. For any questions, please contact Alana Niemi, Outreach Office Manager for Associated Catholic Cemeteries at alanan@mycatholccemetery.org.
