Summary: Like the early church, we are in the midst of a culture that can encounter the power of the Holy Spirit for the first time and truly transform their innermost self. Betrayal, devastation, violation of human dignity, complex grief, chronic stress, and the like, are difficult experiences to personally endure and overcome. More and more western people seek healing from outside of the Catholic Church and the Christian faith tradition. By living the core message of the gospel and practicing Catholic Spirituality, we can increase the likelihood of deeper personal healing through Christ and spread that same inner healing throughout our local parishes and communities.
