Archdiocese of Seattle 175th Anniversary Mass & Celebration – Seattle
Join us for the 2025 celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Seattle at St. James Cathedral in Seattle
For the Archdiocese of Seattle, the year 2025 is doubly blessed. It’s a Jubilee year for the Church throughout the world; it’s also the 175th anniversary of our diocese, established on May 31, 1850. This is the concluding 175th Anniversary Mass, and this special and historical celebration will include all the bishops and be concelebrated with many other priests from the area. Please join us!
The celebration will include:
- 11 am Mass at St. James Cathedral, Seattle with Archbishop Etienne, Bishop Schuster and Bishop Elizondo
- Celebration and reception to follow in O’Dea High School gym across the street from the cathedral.
A procession will start before Mass begins, with priests and representatives of 28 Catholic groups, organizations, Catholic schools and more.
This is last of four special Masses to celebrate the 175th Anniversary. Join us!
