120th Anniversary of Immaculate Conception Church
On December 8, 2024, the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception at 11:00am, a special Mass will be celebrated with Archbishop Etienne, celebrant and Fr, Michael G. Ryan, concelebrant.
This is part of the 120th anniversary of Immaculate Conception Church in Seattle, Washington, an historic landmark. The actual dedication of the church was December 4, 1904. Since 1904, Immaculate conception Church has stood as a beacon for generations of parishioners who called this Catholic church their place of worship. Throughout the years many renovations helped to sustain this sturdy, yet beautiful Italianate structure. The twin towers with gold capped cupolas, stained-glass windows, hand carved communion railing and high traditional pulpit, and beautiful dome that rises 150 feet above the floor captivates the wonder of many.
There will be a 9-day novena held each evening at Immaculate Conception, beginning November 29, 2024, through December 7, 2024 at 6pm. Each evening, the novena prayers will be led by a priest or deacon who once served at Immaculate Conception Church.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this special anniversary celebration.
