Today’s cyber risks are more sophisticated, frequent, and damaging than ever before. To strengthen the collective security of all archdiocesan entities all parishes and schools are required to transition to the AOS Guardian platform or an approved equivalent by December 30, 2026.

Alternative Platform Solutions

Approved alternative platforms may be implemented with a vendor agreement to participate in the enhanced security initiative. Requirements include:

  • Defense in depth cybersecurity strategy
  • System support and monitoring requirements
  • Endpoint protection
  • Device management for Windows and MacOS
  • Two-factor authentication
  • Staff security awareness training
  • Cloud backup and restore
  • Exploit reporting
