Refreshed Archdiocesan Branding

To mark the 175th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Seattle and plan for our next 100 years, we refreshed our archdiocesan branding. The new brand identity reflects our timeless Catholic mission—with renewed clarity, energy and a deeper commitment to love, stewardship and collaboration. This is embodied in our positioning statement—Reflecting Christ’s Radical Love – and manifested in our values, personality and how we show up visually.

Reflecting Christ's Radical Love

In shared Catholic faith, the Archdiocese of Seattle embodies Christ’s radical love through its daily work advancing the care and concern for all God’s children and creation.

We are a Church of action. A people of hope. Called to serve, to welcome, to listen and to lead with courage and compassion. Rooted in Gospel truth, and forward-thinking in how we share it. In our parishes, our ministries, and our Catholic schools, we form hearts, shape minds, and serve others—preparing a new generation to lead with faith, compassion and purpose.

We are focused on reflecting Christ’s Radical Love in the world today.

  • Welcome – Practicing excellent hospitality that ensures people feel they belong.

Our new logo is a visual expression of our mission and identity

  • Jesus Christ at the center in the trefoil cross, with its three-point budded ends representing the Trinity.
  • The circle around the cross is the Eucharist.
  • The light is both an invitation to come and a call for us to go out into the world and make disciples.
  • The stained-glass window reflects our Catholic tradition.
  • The cross on the mountaintop is a nod to the Pacific Northwest.

This new archdiocesan brand mark does not replace the official archdiocesan Coat of Arms, which will remain in use for official canonical purposes.
