ParishStaq is the Archdiocese of Seattle’s parish management system for maintaining parishioner records, sacraments, communications, and online giving. It includes a staff portal for parish administration and a parishioner portal where individuals can access their profiles, view giving history, and stay connected with their parish.

ParishStaq brings together functions that were previously spread across multiple tools into one platform, making it easier and more efficient for parish staff to manage parish operations. ParishStaq provides tools for:

ChMS

The ChMS (Church Management System) is the central database within ParishStaq for managing parish operations, people, and activities. It allows staff to maintain parishioner records, track sacraments, organize groups and events, manage volunteers, and communicate with parishioners. ChMS streamlines administration and helps support parish engagement in one central platform.

Giving Portal

The Giving Portal in ParishStaq allows parish staff to manage donations across all platforms—cash, envelope, and online—while linking gifts to parishioner profiles, groups, and events. Parishioners can give securely, set up recurring donations, and view their giving history, making digital giving simple and accessible for everyone.

App Studio

App Studio in ParishStaq allows campus administrators to customize their parish’s presence within the Archdiocesan mobile app, Our Catholic Community, available on both Apple and Android devices. The app helps parishioners stay connected with their parish and access information linked to the Church Management System (ChMS).

Archdiocese Resources

The PES (Parishioner Engagement System) Team at the Archdiocese of Seattle provides training, system updates, and support materials for ParishStaq. Resources cover topics such as setting up staff accounts, managing parishioner records, tracking sacraments, organizing groups, and using the ChMS and App Studio. For additional assistance, staff can submit a help request to the PES support team.

Q&A

Can I access ParishStaq?

Access to ParishStaq depends on user role and the module:

ChMS Database: Staff members and trusted volunteers in leadership roles can access the ChMS portion. Staff profiles typically use the parish business email. If a staff member is also a parishioner, a separate “staff” profile may be created and marked as a Participant.
Giving Portal: Financial administrators and trusted batch posting volunteers can access the Giving Portal. The main Campus Admin submits a support ticket to Pushpay for new users, who then receive an activation email.
Permission Management: The Lead ParishStaq Campus Admin manages permissions, with guidance from the parish technology advisory team and support from the PES team. Management of permissions is eventually transferred to parish staff for ongoing administration.

How do I log into ParishStaq?

To log into ParishStaq, go to the parish login page provided by your parish or the Archdiocese. Use your parish business email address and the password associated with your profile. If you are a new user, you must first activate your account using the activation email sent by the system. New employees are provided with a ParishStaq profile by the parish administrator, who creates a ChMS profile using the staff member’s parish business email. If the employee is also a parishioner, a separate “staff” profile is created and marked as a Participant to distinguish it from their personal profile.

For security, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required during login. If you experience any issues accessing your account, contact your parish administrator or submit a support request to the Archdiocese PES team for assistance.
