Parish Liaisons

The Archdiocese of Seattle hired eight parish liaisons who have been trained to support parish families in the process of becoming one parish. They will use tools, resources and other guidance to help parish families navigate how to approach prayer and worship, evangelization, administration, governance and more in their new configuration — accounting for the gifts and needs of all communities.

Annie Bailey

Parish Liaison - East King County

Annie Bailey small2

I’m Annie Nieto Bailey and I was  raised in a Mexican American household, in tropical Tampico, Mexico. I hold a B.A. in international studies and foreign languages and a M.S. in church management.

Over the last 10 years, I have worked in ministry at the parish, diocesan, and national levels. Most recently, at Catholic Relief Services as a partner engagement advisor to advocate for those experiencing poverty. Previously, I served as the diocesan director of young adult ministry, and other ministries, including pastoral care, deacon formation and Hispanic and multicultural ministries.

I’m currently on the board of LaRED – the National Catholic Network de Pastoral Juvenil Hispana – as their treasurer. I strongly believe in engaging our young Church as well as embracing the richness and diversity of our cultural communities.

Lastly, I’m proud of my vocation as a mother of three kids, who are little clones of my husband Scott.

GDePalma-min

My name is Gina DePalma, and I am the Parish Family Liaison for the Northern Deanery and the northern part of the Snohomish Deanery. I have been a parishioner at Church of the Assumption in Bellingham for 20 years and most recently served as the parish’s Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation for the previous 13 years. During that time, I was on the Archdiocesan Faith Formation Commission for six years. I have also taught the Archdiocese’s current Catechist Certification Program classes. Prior to raising a family, I taught in a middle school in Seattle and was a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament where my husband and I were married, and our sons baptized.

I live in Bellingham with my husband and three children—one son a grad of WWU in 2023, another son who will graduate from WSU in 2025, and our daughter who will enter UW this September. When given the opportunity, I love to compete on a pickleball court!

Steve Donaldson

Parish Liaison - North and South Seattle

SDonaldson-min

I am working with parishes in generally both North and South Seattle. I have been a long-time parishioner at St. Joseph Parish in Seattle. My wife Carol and I live in northeast Seattle and have three young adult children. For 10 years I worked at two parishes as what today would be called a PAA. Following that I have worked in various Jesuit ministries, at both the local and national level. I joined the Archdiocese a year ago as the first Parish Liaison. What attracted me to this position was the importance of the practice of discernment which will be essential as we move thru the Partners process. Having worked with Ignatian discernment for over 35 years, I have seen how God is constantly with us as and forming us when we truly stay open and listen.

FFarrell-min

My name is Frances Farrell and I am the Parish Family Liaison for the Southern Region which includes part of the South Sound deanery and all of the Southern deanery. I have worked in the Archdiocese of Seattle for over 25 years both at the Chancery and in parish ministry. At the Chancery I worked in a variety of ministries including leadership and transition, pastoral care and inclusion ministry, multicultural ministry and youth and young adult ministry. I have served at St. Joseph in Vancouver for over 10 years as a PAA, Pastoral Associate and Pastoral Coordinator. I also had the great blessing of being the Outreach and Advocacy Coordinator at Christ Our Hope parish for three years, where my family and I were parishioners.

I grew up in Seattle and lived there most of my life. Seven years ago, my husband Richard and I relocated to Vancouver where we currently live. We are members of St. Joseph parish. We have two adult children, a daughter who lives with us and a son who lives nearby in Portland. In my free time, I love to be outdoors. The beach is my happy place, but any time spent with my family (which includes my beloved dog and our three adorable Godsons) is time well spent.

Kevin Lovejoy

KLovejoy-min

My name is Kevin Lovejoy. I am the Parish Family Liaison for Pierce Deanery.

I am a registered member of Saint Patrick Parish in Tacoma, and have been attending mass at various locations throughout the Pierce Deanery to get to know the various faith communities with whom I’ll be working.

After 25 years in the Army, my wife and I and our 4 children retired from active duty service and made Tacoma our new home, where I served 10 years as Parish Administrator and Pastoral Coordinator at Saint Patrick, Holy Cross and Saint Rita Parishes. After 2 years of service at the corporate office of Catholic Community Services (CCS/CHS) I returned to work at the Chancery as Special Projects Officer on the Partners in the Gospel Team.

My wife and I are now empty nesters residing in North Tacoma.

Greg McNabb

GMcNabb-min

Generally speaking, my Partners territory is Everett south along the I-5 corridor to North Seattle. I was ordained a deacon in 2007. My wife, Joan, and I live in the Central District and are parishioners at St Therese in Seattle. St Therese is part of Parish Family 18! We have two kids and one grandchild.

For about 25 years I served various parishes as a PAA and Pastoral Associate. For the last 5 years I served as hospital chaplain at the central hospitals in Seattle (I look great in a hospital space suit).

We live in liminal time. Our world is changing so quickly. Christ calls us to read the signs of the times and to spread the Good News. I am excited to help my church to do so!

Jason Stolberg

JStolberg-min

My name is Jason Stolberg, I am the Parish Family Liaison for the Olympic Peninsula region, which includes all of the Olympic Deanery as well as part of the South Sound Deanery. This is my first professional position with the church. Previous to being a liaison I was in Client Success & Strategy with Indeed inc, Client Consultation & Strategy with bLoyal, Account Management with NRC Health, and Project Management both at Microsoft and at Nintendo.

I live in Bremerton with my wife and we are empty nesters, with both of our girls grown and out of the house (boy is it quiet!). When I do have free time it's usually spent at the parish, but outside of that I enjoy board games, reading, driving around and exploring the Olympic Peninsula, and wine tasting.
