Feast of the Holy Family
The Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, celebrated this year on December 29, celebrates the Holy Family, the role model for all Christian families. The Holy Family placed God at the center of their family, putting him first before anything else.
“The Redeemer of the world chose the family as the place for his birth and growth, thereby sanctifying this fundamental institution of every society.” — Pope John Paul II, Angelus message, December 30, 2001
