Mass in honor of St. Kateri Tekakwitha

October 23 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT

Hosted by the Native American community and the Multicultural ministry for the Archdiocese of Seattle, join Archbishop Paul Etienne in celebrating the gift of Native American Catholics to the Church, particularly by honoring St. Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint.

St. Kateri of Tekakwitha, the Lily of the Mohawks, was born in New York state in 1656. She was noted for her deep prayer life and special devotion to the Eucharist. Join us in a joyful celebration of Native American faith and culture.

The miracle that led to her sainthood occurred locally under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Seattle. Read about it in Northwest Catholic.
